Billing, plans & canceling

ClientLoft is $39/month flat (or $390/year — 2 months free) with unlimited clients, and your first month is free with no card required. Billing is handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.

• Change card, download invoices, or cancel: sign in and click Manage billing at the top of your dashboard. It opens your secure Stripe billing portal — canceling takes two clicks.
• During the free month nothing is ever charged — there’s no card on file to charge. If you do nothing, the trial simply ends.
• After canceling, your account and your clients’ files stay saved so you can export or reactivate; client portals stop accepting new uploads.

Client portals & links

• Clients never need an account. Each client’s portal link is a long, random, unguessable address — treat it like a password and send it only to them.
• Lost or leaked link? Delete the client and re-create them (a fresh link is generated). A regenerate-link button is coming; email us and we’ll rotate it for you in the meantime.
• Portals work on phones — clients can photograph documents and upload straight from the camera roll.

Files & uploads

• Files can be up to 10 MB each, up to 10 files per checklist item. PDFs, images, and office documents all work.
• Only you (signed in) can download files. Your clients see their own filenames but no download links.
• Deleting a client permanently deletes their files. Download anything you need first.

Reminders

“Send reminder” emails your client a list of exactly what’s still outstanding, with their portal link. It needs the client’s email on file, and is limited to one per client per hour so nobody gets spammed.

Signing in

We email you a one-click sign-in link (no passwords). If the link is slow to arrive, check spam, or use the 6-digit code in the same email on the sign-in page. Links expire after 15 minutes — request a fresh one any time.

Your data & privacy

We store the minimum: your email, your clients’ names/emails, the checklists, and the files clients upload. Files are visible only to you, we sell nothing to anyone, and deleting a client (or your account) permanently deletes their files. Details in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service — plus an AI disclosure (no AI ever touches your clients’ documents) and a Data Processing Agreement for practices whose compliance programs need one.
